Meg Habenicht ('13)

Meg Habenicht has been a volunteer in each community in which she has resided. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Meg recalls knocking on doors as a young child raising money for the Community Chest, the predecessor to the United Way. A long time member of the Associations of Junior Leagues, Meg has held various leadership roles and board positions within the Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, Baltimore, MD, and Philadelphia, PA communities. While pursuing a banking career at SunTrust Banks, N.A., Meg was named the Loaned Executive to the United Way of Middle Tennessee for the campaign in 1987. Meg retired from banking in 1989 to pursue opportunities in non-profit. She successfully raised $3 M for research while at the American Foundation for Urologic Disease, for their Research Scholar Program.

Meg, her husband, Matthew, and two young children moved to Chester County in 1998. Upon moving to Pennsylvania Meg became actively involved in the United Way of Chester County. She is a member of the Chester County Leadership Connection (CCLC) Class of 2005, on the Episcopal Academy Parents Association Board, and a member of the Agnes Irwin Parents Council. While staying locally involved with her childrens' schools, Meg also devotes her time and support to her alma mater, Hollins University. She has been the secretary to the Hollins University Alumnae Board of Trustees as well as a board member.

Meg Habenicht holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. Meg is currently pursuing a Masters in Organizational Development and Leadership, and is an Executive Recruiter for ETCETERA.
